Poem That I Wrote.

"Free Bird" 2/3/14 

I just wanna be free.
Like a bird flying over the sea.
The mountains in the way,
Just so I can survive another day.
My hands turn into wings, 
I can finally breathe.
I can barely see the sky,
Or the sand beneath my feet. 
Wake me up,
Before I fall asleep forever.
Teach my your ways,
To take on a new endeavor. 
Guide me in a way,
That no one has before.
But I must love you truly,
Not love as a chore.
My mind is open,
And the amount I can care is paramount.
But if the drive is not there now,
Then it will never amount. 
As I wade through the stream,
And decipher my thoughts.
I pass by frogs, 
Fish, and the rocks.
They guide me by teaching me
How to survive,
Developing knowledge into words,
from deep down inside.
A bird is so different,
From the fish and the frog,
But the bird takes time, 
To fly through the smog.
As it soars closer and closer to the sun,
Another birds stops it along the way,
Wonders why, 
And stops it from trying to run. 

Indiana Weather...I miss summer!

I sometimes wonder if the entire country has crazy weather like Indiana does..I don't know if its our place in the earth or what, but it could be 70 degrees today and 30 tomorrow. It could be sunny today and snowing tomorrow. Its literally ridiculous and I don't understand it. Last night it was literally raining then it turned into a slushie ice and it was disgusting. I woke up this morning to a bobcat scraping against the pavement and shovels scraping the sidewalks. Literally it was so annoying and I am in love with hot weather in the first place, but come one is it summer yet.... 
I miss it :(

A few months ago my boyfriend Dylan and I were shopping at khols and we saw these giant canvas signs that said life and love quotes on them and they were like wall decor and they were awesome and the life one basically described my life and I loved it. He also loved it but not as much as me. lol And he wanted to get me it for christmas but he couldnt find them anywhere, and for valentines day he ended up getting me the life quote one and he gave it to me on Friday night, because I left for North Carolina before valentines day and I gave him a giant card before I left that he wasnt prepared for...but anyway he had a 9 day advantage but I had no idea that he was going to get me anything, i didnt expect  anything in return. Needless to say I was so happy and cried when I read it like three times. its awesome:)))

TEA THAT CURES CANCER!!

Over the weekend I was at my friends house and his dad was boiling water on the stove and I asked what he was doing and he's like I'm making tea. And I'm like oh I love tea, what kind? And he said that it was a herbal tea remedy that supposively cures cancer. Needless to say I freaked out because I know many cancer survivors and I also know a lot of people with health problems. My friends dad, Rory, continues on about how his friend told him about the tea who had been diagnosed with leukemia. He started to drink the tea, and the leukemia went away....This caught my attention and now I'm about to tell everyone I know about this tea. My uncle who is having severe pain issues, and has diabetes, my Aunt Debbie who is a breast cancer survivor, my Aunt Lori who is stage 4 lymphoma survivor, my other Aunt Debbie because she has a 100% stress level, my friend Allie's mom Maureen who was just diagnosed with a brain tumor, my parents because I don't want them to get it, my grandma because she loves tea and because she is having miscellaneous tests done because they think somethings wrong with her, my Aunt Sandy because she loves being healthy and is a vegan, and I'm sure everyone else I come in contact with. 
But anyway it is called Rene Caisse's Original Herbal Tea Remedy: Dried Herbal Mix. AKA: Essiac's Tea. She was a Canadian nurse who made it famous and who also was an Ojibway indian. It comes from Canada still, but the wrapper I took with me says it is shipped out of Colorado. I am not sure how much it costs, but it seems worth any amount of money to me. Also you drink 2 ounces of it per day, so basically half of a shot glass. I can't wait to get some and start drinking it and share it with my family.

No sleep!

Well considering I got no sleep this weekend I'm gonna be super tired this entire week!! But this is the last week of school and then spring break! I'm going to Las Vegas with my golf team from the 4th to the 9th. I'm getting pretty excited, we will be golfing in California as well.
